Who we are

Musalaha means “Reconciliation” in Arabic.

We were started to support the work of Musalaha, based across Jerusalem and the West Bank. Their Executive Board of Palestinian and Israeli community leaders promote, facilitate, and teach reconciliation and unity within Israel Palestine.

The UK team is deeply inspired by the work of Musalaha.

We promote their model of reconciliation as an answer to the divisions within society in Israel Palestine, and own communities here in the UK. We look to support their work to ensure that their work can continue.

Join us, however you can, whether big or small

  • Pray

We worship the Prince of Peace, and we know we can’t bring about peace without him. Join us in praying for Israel Palestine, peace around the world and the work of Musalaha. See below for the most recent prayer requests from the team in Jerusalem.

  • Attend

Throughout the year, we host experts and members of the Musalaha team for talks, workshops, seminars and online events. See below for upcoming events and examples of our previous events.

  • Visit

Nothing compares to seeing something with your own eyes. We partner with Boundary Breakers to provide a unique opportunity to visit and see the difference that Mushalaha’s work makes on the ground.

  • Give

The majority of our fundraising goes directly to fund programmes in Israel Palestine. A small percentage goes towards maintaining our operations in the UK.

  • Tell

We, in the UK team, are continually inspired by the work of Musalaha in Israel Palestine. Join us in telling communities around the UK about their work, by giving out flyers or inviting a member of the team to speak.

What we fund

In 2025, we sent £22,000 to programmes in Israel Palestine

How Our Funding Works

The vast majority of the generous donations we receive go directly to supporting reconciliation programmes in Israel and Palestine.

To keep everything running smoothly, transparently, and in line with monitoring guidelines, we use a simple grant application process. The Musalaha teams in Jerusalem or Bethlehem send us a clear, detailed plan outlining exactly what they need a lump sum of money for and how they plan to spend it. Our Trustees then review and happily agree to the grants, sending the funds straight to the team so they can continue their crucial work.
